Education

Outreach into local schools
○ Lead or assist with presentations in schools (basic teaching ability needed), develop materials to be used when we bring in our taxidermy mounts (kids LOVE these critters). -
Bay Days [Outdoor educational program for 4th graders, in spring and fall]
○ Help coordinate & schedule, chaperone a class (escort between activities), or lead an activity (requires specialized knowledge about the Bay). -
Archaeology Digs
○ Come dig (training provided) or help with set-up and site remediation. -
Speaker Series
○ Bring refreshments or help with set-up. -
Summer Outings
○ Lead a paddle or walk (experience required), or help with set-up.
Research & Advocacy

Water quality monitoring
○ 1–2 hours, once a month, March – October. -
Water quality data
○ Enter data or generate basic reports and graphs.
